Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Probably getting off track with the CC/User/Minor thing. Best bet is what previous member stated and don't take original answer from bank and fight it. Also avoid this young lady at all cost. Thanks for letting every one know to avoid Heather Bishop

Lucille, the mare fact of getting a summons may induce the party to pay. Any additional charges in the presentation of the summons can easily be added on. The object here is to put the person on notice that the shipper "wants his money back" not a profit but to get back what he paid for in good faith.
Insofar as an authorized user being required be on the checking account if a card is issued, i did not say ALL banks, but many banks do. Bank America goes out of there way to insure that they themselves are protected. PayPal has a card as well, but the obligation is on the funding source. They may have an entirely different set of rules regarding underage users.
Until an issue occurs, it is best to open a checking account independently if you want to give your child a card. It would be a debit one only as they are using there ownl money. This way no attachment to the parent would make him obligated .

Yes it survived two cross-country trips because Matt packs his animals exceedingly well.

It could have been a prepaid credit/debit. My 11 year old has one, and I deposit part of her Tribal percapita payments on it. I would rather have her lose that, with a pin number, than cash. Her card is also linked to send my phone a text every time it's used. Thats how i knew what my Christmas gift was LOL but I told her Santa told me. It sounds like the father has a thing against snakes. How he acted was very rude, and the daughter should learn to ask her parents before purchasing an animal. The fact that this animal survived two trips, in the same package shows that Matt did a phenomenal job packaging, and I would not hesitate to purchase from him.

I would imagine the parent is responsible for anything the minor does in the end, but I would bet on the parent being a dead beat welfare bum so probably not worth the trouble to pursue it.
