Help me find this gecko please

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew the real/more common name or where to get a "stub tailed gecko". I'd appreciate any input, thanks.

Here is a photo of one of my Knobtail Geckos:

If this isn't what you are looking for, then I recommend going to the Global Gecko Association's website and look through their phtos gallery.

I agree that you're probably looking at some type of knob-tail gecko. What species exactly is a little tricky, but the levis is by far the most common in captivity. Here's the list of known geckos in that Genus:

Nephrurus amyae(Centralian Rough Knob-tail)
Nephrurus asper(Rough Knob-tail, Spiny Knob-tailed Gecko)
Nephrurus deleani(Pernatty Knob-tail)
Nephrurus laevissimus(Smooth Knob-tail)
Nephrurus levis(Three-lined Knob-tail, Smooth Knob-tailed Gecko, Common Knob-tailed Gecko)

Nephrurus levis levis
Nephrurus levis occidentalis
Nephrurus levis pilbarensis
Nephrurus sheai(Kimberley Rough Knob-tail)
Nephrurus stellatus(Stellate Knob-tail, Southern Knob-tailed Gecko)
Nephrurus vertebralis(Midline Knob-tail)
Nephrurus wheeleri(Banded Knob-tail)

Nephrurus wheeleri cinctus
Nephrurus wheeleri wheeleri

I'm still working on pictures so I won't be able to help out much other than that, but maybe going through the list in google you can figure out which one in particular you were looking at.

Yeah, that picture is correct, that is the one I was looking for, does anyone know about how much one of those run for?

I found the exact one that I was looking for/want. It is a Smooth Knob-tailed Gecko (Nephrurus levis levis). Are these prices about right? Unsexed Juviniles $250ea. and Sexed pairs are $650 pair.

They run around $250 for unsexed babies and $800 for a sexed pair.
