Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

My turn....
We all teased Steve about his pictures of Casper (well, I did, anyway); so I thought it was only fair that, while he is visiting, I open myself up for the same abuse. His look has changed quite a bit since I saw him this summer, with much of his yellow base filling in with light brown (kinda milk chocolate-ish) speckles. In some areas, it is just a bit of flecking...in others, the scales have totally turned.
It was about 4am, and I couldn't sleep, so I dragged him out...I might try for some better ones in the not too distant future.

I think Steve would agree that the darker areas, like the ones circled in red in this pic, used to look like the area circled in blue...and that much of the yellow had minimal flecking.

That snake has got to be the most frustrating one in the world to take a picture of. 
See....not all my pics are bad due tot he photographer. Sometimes it's the subject as well.
Glad you guys got home OK and hopefully the kids didn't scare you out of ever stopping by again.
