Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

what the fuck?? i collect wood frog eggs from a vernal pool almost every year and rear the tads
now i'm not allowed to have them?? and grey treefrogs? if someone wants a fucking frog they should be allowed to have a fucking frog! i've caught numerous wood frogs, spring peepers, and gray treefrogs around here and if i find one and want to keep it, i'm going to fucking keep it!
and i hope they dont ban firebelly toads, firebelly toads are my life! if they ban firebelly toads i may have to fucking kill myself! i mean why is it that peeps single out CT amphibian keepers like this and tell them what they can and can't keep?
do u realize how harsh our winters are? if most of the animals on the list on page one escaped in CT, they'd be dead by fucking october for shit's sake! wood frogs and gray treefrogs have to FREEZE SOLID to survive the winters here!! and yet they dont do anything about species that are actually invasive like fucking spotted wing drosophila or AILANTHUS or that algae shit in the fucking connecticut river!! they take away our freedoms to avoid the spread of non invasive species that will never be invasive and don't let us keep NATIVE species??? i've gotta get out of this shithole state!!!
