Hibernating

I have a baby Eastern Box turtle that I am hibernating. I do need some information though. Do you feed them any while hibernating and if so, how often? Also, how long do they need to hibernate and how to you get them to "wake up"?

box turtles dont NEED to be brumated until they are 3-4 years of age, no they do not eat and any food remaining in their guts can possibly rot and cause the animal to die, water should be provided at all times and soaked(if it's an artificial brumation) once weekly to once monthly, as for bring it out of brumation warming it up slowly over the course of a week or two.
and normal brumation lasts from 2 months to 6 months.
