Diagnose this kingsnake

It's had this bump for a long time. It still eats fine and seems otherwise healthy.

Could it possibly be from an old nose rub? a tumor? something else?

Thanks,

Evan

I'm not exactly sure, but I'm hoping it's due to nose rubbing as I have a corn snake with what looks like the same thing. I first noticed her nose looking puffy a few months ago, but it has really taken off in the past couple of weeks. It doesn't seem to bother her, but I do wonder if it will eventually go down in time or if it's something I should be concerned about.

I do believe those are both due to infected nose rubs. you might want to look for the best way to clean the wounds to help the healing process.

Old Trauma (Nose-Rubbing) Build-up VS. Mass/Tumor VS. Abscess (infection possibly in the nares, sinus cavity, or even the teeth, or just secondary to the trauma from nose rubbing).

I would see a Vet.
