TP glares at me when I walk into the room anymore. Normally she loves to be held. but not now. Normally she loves her baths. But not now. If I'm this ancy about the dragon, I don't know how I'll ever have humans...

Question My pregnant Beardie

My little girl is quite pregnant and lumpy. She's been pacing in her enclosure for a few days now and has become extremely picky about her diet. I've read a few website about preparing for the eggs but I'm still a little confused. From what I've gathered I know that a lay box is required, however, nothing ever seems to state if the lay box itself is inside her every day enclosure or if I have to put her in a lay box and leave her there for a few days. One website mentioned that the regular proper lighting isn't necessary for a lay box, but I dont want to make her sick either. Can someone help clear up exactly what the lay box consists of and where it is placed? Thanks so much!!

It is preference really. You can have the lay box in her everyday enclosure or you can have it set aside somewhere and take her to it. I place all my layboxes in with the females....in their normal enclosure. I feel that the female is more comfortable that way...but like I said...preference.
