CBB 2018 Unrelated Pair of Japanese Forest Rat Snake (E. conspicillatus) Honshu locality animals. This is an example of one of this years hatchlings. The animals offered are my personal holdbacks from 2018, but looking at projects I have going at the moment have decided to make this pair available.
These animals do well in a terrestrial or rack setup depending on your preference. Setup is fairly easy with cypress mulch and temperature ~77 F as a hot spot and 70 F as a cool spot. They are a very easy species to keep, as long as temperatures are maintained and security is provided for the animals. We do want to ensure that these end up in responsible keepers hands, as there are very few of these animals in captivity. As a result, please call concerning these animals as there is very little literature available on the captive care of these animals and some of it can be misleading.
Specimens will be switched to f/t pinkies and offered several feedings before shipment in the Spring. As a result of the late offering in the season animals will be held on a deposit to be paid in full before shipment.
The pricing for these animals is below:
Pairs are $****/shipped (unrelated animals)
Note: Animals will only be shipped when overnight temperatures are over 30F to be held at a FedEx facility. Insurance is available for $2.50 per $100 of insurance on the shipping package. Shipping is a flat $50 via FedEx.
