Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Any reputable Corn Island Boa breeders?
Those BRBs are gorgeous, I have seen them for years.
I am so partial to my Hogg Island, she's super!
I came across another species of island boa...Corn Island Boa..anyone know of breeders for these guys?
I am deciding between BRBs, or Corn Island I think.
Thanks again.

there is quite a big price difference between brazilian rainbow boas and corn islands but THE ONLY person to get them from is Gus Rentfro @ riobravoreptiles.com

Thanks a lot. Yeah I figure the price difference will be different, as I have never seen Corn Islands before. And I have seen BRBs for years. But I do love small island species, however that BRB color is just remarkable too..

Don't Forget....
Vin Russo has Corn Island Boas as well that I'm pretty certain came from Rio Bravo stock so I have to disagree that Gus is the only person to buy from. The article in Reptiles Magazine on insular island species and dwarf boas was written by Vinnie. I agree Gus has super animals but once he sells pairs to others and they in turn breed them the genetics are the same. I've seen these animals from Cutting Edge Herps at the White Plains, NY show fairly recently and can say they are very nice indeed.

I've got a trio of Gus' Corn Islands that I've been raising up. With any luck, I'll get a successful breeding this year. Anyway, Gus' Corn Islands are absolutely stunning. I recommend him to everyone looking for Corn Islands.

That's Great News Mike!
Please put me first in line for a pair of the nicest ones you produce (after your holdbacks of course). You know where to find me LOL.

Greg, I've got my fingers crossed on these guys this year. The male is throwing sperm plugs, but I haven't yet seen any actual breeding yet!
I'm very excited about this group - I've been raising them up for a long time.
When/If I produce any babies - I'll give you a heads up. Chances are, you'll have something I want anyway.
Have a great New years.

greg i do understand where you are coming from but as of last year i only knew of Gus reproducing any... not to say others will not or are not but if you want the real deal you have to be careful whom they come from... of course Vin is reputable, as well as mike (good luck) and the barnetts too but you know as well as i you have to be careful where you get them from to ensure you are not being ripped off... so i appologize to anyone whom might have bred some last year[s] but you can never be too careful when dealing with locality animals
