Yeah, unfortunately that is not a hypo. For whatever reason, a lot of people tend to think an animal a little lighter in color from the conventional color scheme or pattern constitutes a hypo, I've seen people claim this with both reptiles and amphibians. And of course you have those certain individuals (i.e.: vendors/sellers) who either are trying to pull a fast one or really don't know themselves and will portray an animal as a hypo. For what it's worth, I know that P.E. is working on albino and hypo Savannah monitor projects.

No offense John

Locations: Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, N Democratic Republic of the Congo.

But those are from localities dating as far back as 1938 to as early as 2005. Maybe they aren't currently found there anymore. Gives me something to look into.

I'm going with John on this one

One thing you should take into consideration is that back in the 1930's + people were calling savannahs (boscs), white throats + black throats were all considered the same species/sub species. Also to my knowledge only black/white throats live in Tanzania

Good luck with the sale

Bryan
