Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Old school
This fella has been around the block a time or two. He was hatched out in 1997 (thats right he is 9 years old) by Bill Brant. His name is "Cheeto" and he has some history behind him. I hope he still has what it takes to get around a few more times. As you can see tangerines are not a brand new thing. They have however come a long way through selective breeding. I would like to thank all those that paved the way. You know who youse are... LOL

This is so true. I think sometimes people look at the leopard geckos we have available today and forget that it wasn't that long ago we didn't have so many choices. And that there has been alot of hard work by some dedicated people to get us where we are. I too would like to thank everyone that is responsible for paving the way.

I can never thank the elders in Leopard gecko wisdom for what they have done for the community. Now new faces have risen and have pushed to make new and surprising things. I always try to give them the reconginition they deserve.
Someday i hope as well, I can make wonderful new and surprising things

very cool!
awesome jermey! i have a few "old school" tangerines that are 5+ years old, just pets i keep around for fun. I never thought about using them for breeding since that would be backtracking? I have many of their 4-5th+ generation offspring in my breeding colonies however.
I still remember "back in the day" buying "hypo YELLOW" leopard geckos(golden/yellow body coloration with 10 or so body spots) from albey, golden gecko and many others...they all had head spots and i bought them for $300-500+ EACH! who else remembers those days? =)

I try not to think of the $3k or so that I spent with Albey when I was getting started, especially when I have to price offspring 4 or 5 generations later, that look 10X better, for a fraction of the cost...

I plan to use this male to diversify my bloodlines. I will use him to outcross some of my female SHTCT's. He is semi-retired. I think I will have to put a few females with him every now and again to keep him happy though.
I just wanted to give him a nice place to stay during his latter years. LOL

That's how I want to spend my retirement, a nice place to stay and a few females now and again to keep me happy, I wonder what my wife would say to that plan?
