Please read!!

I hope I am posting this in the right forum. Everyone reads here so I figured this would get the most readers.

Anyway. It has came to my attention that people have been receving obscene emails from my email travis@bigpythons.com. I want to assure that this is not me and no one has permission to do so. The wierd thing is that the majority of the people that have been replying to inform me of this have been reptile related people. I dont know if this has something to do with my website or what. I have contacted my webmaster and he is investigating the whole thing. Also the email account has been deleted so it cant possibly send out any more. I hope!!

My purpose for this thread is ....

1. To apologize to anyone who has recieved these emails.

2. To ask if anyone else has ever experienced this before?

Any feedback would be appreciated

The problem here travis is the emails being sent are virus created.
and the virus creates the address I know it sounds strange.
But I get them from time to time most are herp related.
so even if you don't have the email account the emails may still be sent.
The virus also creates a message but norton AV deletes them.
The only way the virus could have gotten everyones email addresses is if it infected a forum and got a large block of addresses for it to use when sending.
a most infamous worm even sent out mail allegedly
from bill gates address so nobody is immune.
so keep your antivirus up to date.
