This is my 1st time breeding. I put my 1000g mojo spider male in with my 1700g normal last week and he wasn't interested. Jimmy S. told me to put another males shed in with them next time I try. So I did, and BAMM!! They've been locked for 2 days now. As soon as I put him in with her, he went straight to her and started wooing her. This is soooo cool for me!! I'm amped!! Here's a pic or 2.
Don't know. I still don't understand all of it. But I'm learning. Follicles are felt before pairing. So are follicles just pre-eggs that need the sperm from the male to fertilize?
Craig, they won't necessarily even grow follicles unless you do introduce a male.
Breeding lightly to entice follicle growth is a good thing and something almost every new breeder has to do since very few people learn to palpate before breeding.
It's good advise to not over breed the males when the female doesn't have noticeable follicle growth,
