Indonesian Turtle Availability
We have the following species available:
Cuora amboinensis Sulawesi: TheSulawesi Ambos are flatter shelled, peach colored skin and wider yeallow markings on the head. Very cool locality and very easy to care for. Asking $200/pair plus shipping.
Cuora amboinensis South Sumatra: This is the "classic" or typical Ambo we see for sale. But these guys came in exceptionally large and very high domed. They are not from the northern part of Sumatra where the "giant" ones tend to come from so we are a bit shocked at their size and how robust they are.
Asking $150/pair plus shipping.
Siebenrockiella crassicolis adults: The underrated Black marsh Turtle is quite a personable species that satill proves hard to breed in captivity. When kept warm and offered a good variety of food (fruits, insects, pellets and even fish) they prove to be quite hardy.
Asking $120/pair plus shipping.
Single males $75 each plus shipping (very few available)
Single females $60 plus shipping.
Cyclemmys dentata: The Asian Leaf Turtle always gets overlooked as they are incredibly unassuming, but their hardiness and personality cant be described until you actually keep them. We have small/juvies and adults available. Adults all seem to sport the solid black plastron or black with some faint striping. The juvies some have yellow plastrons with pattern/stripes while a few have the darker plastron. On this species I can't guarantee sexes, I'm just not good enough to sex them accurately.
Asking $50 each plus shipping.
Cyclemmys dentata (orange heads): These guys appear to be slightly different from the regular dentata we get in. They sport a rusty/orange color on their heads. Some say this could be C. enigmatica but I can't say for sure or guarantee it. We have juvies and some adults. Sexes are not guaranteed on this species.
Asking $65 each plus shipping.
Notochelys platynota: Notoriously difficult to keep but quite beautiful species (in our opinion anyway). These guys are recent imports (1 month or less in captivity) so they could still be iffy so to speak. They are all eating and acting as if they are getting accustomed to captivity and established.Mostly males available but we do have a few younger/juvenile females.
Asking $300 each plus shipping.
Emydura subglobosa: The famous Pink Belly Sideneck turtle. Not much needs to be said about this staple of the turtle world. Great eaters and very prolific breeders.
$200/pair plus shipping.
Elseya branderhorstii: Amazing Elseya species that grows to a considerable size. Only 2 juvies available at around 5 inches each.
Asking $45 each plus shipping.
Dogania subplana: This is a challenging species of softshell as they are very antisocial and require very clean water. This group we have had for at least 3 months now (likely longer) and they are eating extremely well. They get water changes daily or every other day and they are housed separately/individually. The group looks to be 1 male and 4 females. Would prefer to sell as a group but can sell the females separately and the male will sell either with a female or females, or by himself after all the females sold. Sorry about this but males are exceedingly difficult to get.
Females $100 each plus shipping
Whole group (1 male and 4 females) $500 plus shipping.
Amyda cartilaginea "yellow": We have just 1 small Amyda available. Yellow in color (versus the typical gray or black coloration) she's eating pellets and thawed fish very well. This species grows quite large so make sure you can house it as an adult.
Asking $750 plus shipping.
