Hey did everyone saw the ad on kingsnake about the snow burms? They look aweful familiar to a snake that I saw taht belongs to someone els. Anybody know if this guy "ryan" got them legally? or is he selling them for someone els? (like Dale). I have only heard there were 3 "leusistic" or "snow" burms. could someone shed light on this for me

GOOD MORNING,
THE "SNOW" FOR SALE ON KINGSNAKE LOOKS LIKE A REGULAR ALBINO , JUST WITH MORE WHITE AND LESS YELLOW THAN NORMAL. ITS VERY NICE LOOKING BUT IS NOT LEUCISTIC IN MY OPINION. I HAVE SEEN OTHERS SELLING "SNOW BURMS" AND THEY WERE ALL ALBINOS WITH LESS YELLOW AND MORE WHITE THAN NORMAL-NOT LEUCISTIC. TAKE A LOOK AGAIN AT THE PICT AND YOU CAN SEE THE REDUCED YELLOW PATTERN ON THE SNAKE.

GOD BLESS!

I will clear it up for you Winston. The "snow" burm is in fact nothing more then a extremly high white albino, also call a "ghost albino" (I have had them and sold them last year)the snake in mention is worth maybe $1,500 but people think because they call it a "snow they will get some one to pay a arm and a leg and then they breed them and get normal albino.

It is neither a snow, ghost, or luecistic, it is in fact a high white albino, Dave is correct, you get nothing but your usual offspring. $1500 no way, try $500 at the most and that would be to a burm collecter, no use for a breeder.

I just wanted to say that I saw a leucistic burmese at the tampa show in sept. last year and it didnt look like that, also it had black eyes........ I agree with the high white theory and if you are lucky you might get 2% of a clutch that would come out high white, most likely all you would get would be normal albino babies though.

well this guy on kingsnake is trying to sell the thing for at least ten thousand. I think it is a bit much.
