Mold in feeder cricket box?

Yesterday I found mold in my feeder cricket box. It's cleaned often and somebody told me it could have had happened due to the humidity. I haven't fed my Bearded Dragon any because I worry about everything so much. 2 people told me the crickets should be still safe to eat if I transfer them into another box (which I haven't done yet) and 1 person told me not to give them to him because it could kill him. It's several thousand crickets and I'd hate to waste but if there's possible safety concern then they're out of here! Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks for reading,
Micaela

It really depends on what kind of mold we are talking about, some molds are dangerous, others are harmless. If its mold on wet food that is making that "cottoney" white substance, throw out the food and switch the crickets over. Ive had it happen a couple of times and still fed the bugs to my animals with no issues. But again its hard to say without knowing what kind of mold it is
