Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Burmese Mountains and Repticon Orlando
Just wanted to ask if anyone is planning on bringing and Burmese Mountain Tortoises to Repticon Orlando in early April. Black or brown, male or female. The only thing I am picky about is that it is captive bred or a LTC. Thanks!

Hi, Adam. Looking at the vendor list for the Tampa show next weekend, I am extremely confident that there will be some emys emys babies or juveniles available there. Probably across three to five different vendors. It will depend on if those same vendors have tables rented for the Orlando show in April (they often do), but it is probable that there should be some there as well. If you make it to the Tampa show, you might have a few more to choose from just because of timing (they do not usually hatch until later and the number available will decrease over time since animals sell at and between shows).

I checked the list for the Orlando show as well just since I had a moment. Keep in mind that it is early and that list as shown now might not be fully fleshed out. There will be a number of vendors who should be offering emys emys at the Orlando show. Probably fewer than at the Tampa show, but either show should be fine. I like to attend both when I can make them, but I do not always have the time available. If you can go to both, I recommend it. A good number of vendors set up shop at both shows, but some skip one venue for another due to distance or scheduling conflicts.
------------
Regarding your CB and LTC thing, very few people have or offer freshly WC emys emys these days. They sometimes come in, but it not like the frequency of years ago. Everything (in terms of emys emys) that I have seen on tables at any of the Orlando and Tampa Repticon shows I have attended since autumn of 2015 through early 2017 has been CB. Babies and juveniles. There were some larger (young adult male and a smaller possible female) CB emys phayrei brought by one vendor to an Orlando show in spring of 2016 at the request of myself and another person, but those were the only phayrei I have seen present at the Orlando or Tampa Repticon shows since I have been attending.
A photo of the male the day I picked him up last May is attached.
