Commercial Herbal de-wormer?

A local pet store owner asked me about this stuff- I've never heard of it before. It's called Worm Guard and is sold by Nature Zone. Full ingredients list is: Pumpkin seed, black walnut, wormwood, Black Cumin, Thyme, Kieselguhr, Papain.

Any one have any experience and/or thoughts? I've heard of some of the ingredients, but not all, and I haqve no idea if any of it has any efficacy in reptiles.

I'm also posting this in the parasite forum, but of course, this one is much more populated.

That sounds like Parazap, which is being used to do dewormings, naturally through herbal remedies instead of pharmaceudicals.
I have personally not used it but have known a few people who did use parazap & were happy with the results.
It acts as an appetite stimulant & helps to clean out the GI tract where parasites like to live, & improves digestion as well. I think most people only use it for a 5-7 day stint, maybe a few times per year.

I have been a long time user of Parazap-mostly with my Bearded Dragons-and WormGuard is a cheaper version of Parazap

As far as I know-it has identical ingredients

I have never had any ill effects using this product but as always- a bringing a fecal sample into your vet is the best place to start when parasites are suspected
