Let's see, what's been going on since the last update....
Canon announced they're dropping out of film cameras. No they're not,,,,yes they are,,,,,no they're not....... I'll let you know if they ever make up their minds but I would bet money they'll follow Konica/Minolta and Nikon and do it.
Microsoft wants to do away with jpeg and replace it with their new WDP format....just what we need
Nikon released the D2Xs.....what's the difference between it and the D2X....if you can figure it out let me know because it looks like they just tacked another letter on it.
And in its first move since taking over Konica/Minolta, Sony has released the Alpha DSLR-A100, basically a renamed version of the Minolta 5D with a couple of tweaks.
Someone over at MIT has figured out a new capacitor based battery that's supposed to charge in seconds and no more 'memory' problems....now that is cool.
That's about it.
