Hello from L.A. (Lower Alabama)

Hello everyone,

The name's Michael. Decided to check this place out after listening to Reptile Radio. I'm always looking for more folks who like to talk herps.

Anyway, I've been dealing with herps for almost 15 years now. I've worked at two different petstores for accumulatively 9 years, so I've been able to put my hands on a lot of different species.

I'm no expert, though, and I'm always willing to learn. Two animals on my wish list are the Aesculapian ratsnake and the Boelen's python. Also, I used to have a pair of Malagasy giant hognose snakes and would love to try my hand at breeding them again one day. Wouldn't mind getting into African house snakes either.....Hmmmm...it never ends...

Right now, I still have the pleasure of having the first snake I ever owned, a male ball python (Jasper) as well as a recently-acquired Dumeril's boa (Klimjack).
