Hypomelanistic Armadillidium vulgare

Hypomelanistic Armadillidium vulgare

I found this guy today while gardening, He looks to be a Hypo Pill-bug, Roly-Poly or as we called them when kids Potato Bug.

I put him in one of my Crestie vivs to see if he'll reproduce???

Seriously, is there a market for these?

Skip the pic request since I recall Rich just posting the other day that we have reached our limit on attachments and I have not seen that anything has been done about that yet.

Well being more of an Eastsider than you (born in PA) we also called them potato bugs, pill bugs and the more mature name of rollie pollies.

Oh, well, sorry to hear that. LOL I figure that far into Appalachia you'd probably call them 'dinner' ROFL.
Seriously, Does it look like a morph or a molt to you?

I'd say it's a hypo as they look off white when they molt.

BTW, don't believe the hype, they don't taste anything like potatoes.

Residing in PA too, I'd bet Chuck would have had a good recipe or two for them.
