Poppy- northern redbelly cooter morph

Poppy, 6 years old, two split dorsal scutes, female, hasn't laid yet. this morph is so rare I don't know what to call it. basically, she's hypomelanistic, so her black comes off as a light blue grey, and actually fades lighter in summer sun. a stunning morph.
make a reasonable offer.

These are just normal red belly. Once in a while people try to pull off selling normal turtles as morphs. There so rare lol

Ivee seen other pictures of these two girls. These are very dark pics posted of them. Pictures of them in the sun brighten the colors by a lot. These are in no way normal especially this girl.

Beautiful girl. Would love her if it was legal to own here.

Agreed with Travis, they certainly are not normal rubriventris...though, I do question the purity of them.

Interesting, Ronnie. I have been thinking the same thing about these. They are in no way normal rubriventris. The markings on the head are the best illustration of that. But "Egg" especially (the other of these two turtles), makes me question whether something else might be mixed in there, genetics-wise.

I'll buy that when you show me a WC rubriventris that looks like this. I'd even consider it if you show me one with a vertical post orbital line. That's something I've only seen in nelsoni, part of my questioning the purity.
