Digby, when I researched this lizard I found almost nothing. So its habits, food, whether it can be legally imported and how that is done are all possible subjects in a discussion forum, IMHO.

Warning! Appropriateness

These arent even Uromastyx. I just didnt know where else to put them. Importation is a legal issue that has nothing to do with natural history, care, or biology of the animals in question. Arent you glad I didnt use these as ringers in the photo contest Now I wont post here anymore in this particular forum or thread on legal issues and procedures of proocurement Please respond in one of the forums here more geared to importation laws because this is my last response in this matter here unless it is directly related to the care, husbandry, natural history, or experiences with the animals. I will say it is better to pay more to buy animals already imported than to import yourself. We get these in once a year around Sept-Oct and thats it. I sell them as a group, however many come in determines group size. We dont keep them around. All the pics you have seen in my gallery were fresh imports less than a couple hours after entering the country. It has not taken more than a day to get them sold after they come in. We do not acclimate before hand but move them out immediately. The people who buy these discover how too care for them becauuse so little is known.

I'm glad you posted the pix, they are truly gorgeous lizards. I will try to do more research about their habits and legal status and post here for those interested in acquiring such lizards.

Acquisition

Thank you for your interest and understanding in this matter. As for acquiring them. You do that from me. . Already imported. For the past couple of years I have been the only brokrer for these gems. Maybe I post another pic of them not in my gallery if you bat your sea green eyes and wiggle your hips for me

In the USA I mean as far as broker. They give me first right of refusal then if dont want them they just sell them to Japan!
