I hate to have to go through this but I feel it is the only way I'll get something done. I made a deal with Joseph to trade his trio of carpets for either one red tegu or a pair of black and whites.He finally decided he wanted the pair of black and whites. After some minor shipping problems I received the Trio from him. When I got the tegus in I contacted him and sent pics. Well, unfortunately my 3 year old let one of the B&Ws out. I contacted him and offered three options. I could send him his snakes back, give him just the red tegu, or send him one of each and he could pay me $75( which is a great deal on a B&W) just to make things right. He decided he wanted one of each but couldn't send the money until Friday. I said fine because he had already sent me his snakes. Well Friday rolled around and he never sent the money or even contacted me. After I contacted him a few times he wrote back with a sob story. Well, I was counting on the money myself. I have other buyers lined up for when I get more in. So, I offered to let him just send it back and I would split the shipping. Well, after he refused that I said lets just trade back and he wouldn't do that. I need the money for a few things and can't wait for when ever he decides to send it. I even offered to send the shipping label to him and he could pay his half later which is only $21. I have all of our emails if you would like to see. I know it seems hasty to bring this here but he would even keep steady communication. I was supposed to get paid Friday and then Saturday, yet here we are. I have told him about putting this on here. I have all the emails if you guy want them. I am just trying to get this guy to compromise.

Nice looking snakes you got there. The tegus are babies and great eaters, but I have never met a tegu that wasn't lol. When I talked to him he said that their still a little small to guarantee the sex. So, I can get the Red tegu for you if you like. I can see if he can send me some pics for you. I will tell you he always has good looking babies. I usually prefer the other person ship first, is that ok with you? You can look me up on BOI if you like and I can give references as well.

Im stuck between a rock and a hard place i dont know weather i want the red or the two black and whites. How much of a diff would i have to pay if i wanted the black and whites too? Because either way i want the red.

I have to inform you that I have to order a box for the carpets because the one I ordered was too small that was for my 100% het albino/hypo boas. So you will get it this week no problem if not it will be Tuesday. Thanks and what are the tegus eating?

I just got off the phone with my buddy. He said that he should be able to ship them out tomorrow and I should get them wed. I will let you know tomorrow for sure if he isn't able to get them to me on wed. He just said he had a lot going on tomorrow but he would try to get them out to me. They are feeding on dusted crickets at the moment. It's hard to get a young tegu to eat fruit. Every tegu I have ever had would eat anything. I feed mine a varied diet including: Ground turkey, Rabbit, mice, bananas, pitted cherries, and peaches. I also feed them mealworms and superworms when the young instead of the crickets because they don't stink. Not to mention mealworms are the easiest thing to keep and breed. I actually could through in a few beetles so you can start a colony. All you have to do is put them in a tub of weat flour and give them sliced potatoes for water. The best part is they don't stink. Will if you ever decide you want one of those reds let me know he still have a few.

Just talked to him again. I told him I didn't want you to wait and that I didn't want to wait for the animals two days in a row. I'm too busy for that. So they are shipping today and will be here tomorrow when the carpets should get here.. So, As soon as I check them out they will be on there way to you. I also feed them mealworms and superworms when the young instead of the crickets because they don't stink. Not to mention mealworms are the easiest thing to keep and breed. I actually could through in a few beetles so you can start a colony. All you have to do is put them in a tub of weat flour and give them sliced potatoes for water. The best part is they don't stink. Will if you ever decide you want one of those reds let me know he still have a few.

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to ya today. I have had one of those days. I received my order today as planned. For some reason I was missing a couple snakes and one of the tegus. I have been trying to get ahold of my buddy all day. I finally got a hold of him a few mins ago. I was informed that one of his employees just didn't put them in the box for some reason. I keep telling him not to hire teenagers, but they're cheap labor lol. He promised that he will have it out to me first thing in the morning being that I didn't get a hold of him in time today. I'm really sorry, I hate looking bad over someone else. I really hate that it worked out on the weekend. I will send you pics of the other one when I receive it. I have attached pics of the one I got today. He is pretty tame for a baby. Looks very healthy and chomping down on some super worms right now. I am going to try some fruit in the morning for him. I like to feed them their "meat" every few days and offer fruit everyday. Again I'm really sorry about you having to wait. I wish I could get them out tomorrow. I have never ran into this before.

I feed mine a varied diet including: Ground turkey, Rabbit, mice, bananas, pitted cherries, and peaches. I also feed them mealworms and superworms when the young instead of the crickets because they don't stink. Not to mention mealworms are the easiest thing to keep and breed. I actually could through in a few beetles so you can start a colony. All you have to do is put them in a tub of weat flour and give them sliced potatoes for water. The best part is they don't stink. Will if you ever decide you want one of those reds let me know he still have a few.

I just looked at the other pics and see how you might have thought it was a golden. The little bit of green plays tricks with my cameras flash. I really need to get a good camera. I Assure you it is not a golden. If you still can't tell I will get out one of my baby golden tegus for a side by side pic. I think you should get you a baby and handle it almost every day and believe me you will have guys like I do. My favorite was my boy Damien he was a big baby. Here is a pic of him and I at my grandpas house. I used to take him everywhere with me. I even leash train mine.

No problem it's hard to trust anyone these days. I love my columbians man. I think the work of taming them is one of the most rewarding parts. I think you should get you a baby and handle it almost every day and believe me you will have guys like I do. My favorite was my boy Damien he was a big baby. Here is a pic of him and I at my grandpas house. I used to take him everywhere with me. I even leash train mine.
