Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Kids
I have two sons; two seemed like a good number especially since I raised them mostly by myself. They are grown and gone on their own (mostly) now but in looking back I think that the two of them were a perfect family for me.
The choice of family is one of the most important choices we can make. I have a friend that chose not to have children and I respect her choice; at the other end of the scale, I became acquainted with a lady at a church I used to attend who had three sets of twins and 4 singles for a total of ten children. She had some funny stories to tell, just about the basics of taking care of a family that big.
For those of you who have children, do the number of children you have correspond with what you had planned when you started out? Are you happy with your choice? Is your family larger or smaller than the one you grew up in?

but, but, but
isn't the consciences on the smaller family these days and not of our parents ? With my age and my parents and siblings of 8 total and my mothers family of 10 and my separated wifes family of 10, wasn't it the norm of having huge families. All of my siblings and all of both of my offspring's and all of all of the others of all related family including of marriage, none and i mean none has had over 2 offspring's. Kinda thought this was the wave of the last several decades or more and especially of economic times ? Oh no Luciile, I see another possible " poll " for you on something to do with " economic times " and families ! LOL !

What is "normal" LOL
I have 5 yes 5 children (five). I would not change a thing.
NOT !!!!
As they get older they seem to go stark raving bonkers.
At about age 17, so far that seems to be the age.
3 of the five chose 17 years old to lose their minds.
Child number one-Hope Marie (23)
Went to State boot camp not once but twice.
Moved out at the age of 16, "because she was an adult"
Has moved in and out too many times to count.
Is currently back home. their
Child number 2- Christina Whitney (20)
Is married and has two and 1/2 children. Her husband, has had some
difficulty keeping a job.
Mom & Dad to the rescue ( the grandbabies have needs)
Child number 3- Charles William Jr. (19)
At 17 decided he was "grown" got into some trouble with the Law.
Quit school............................
6months later he want to military school, and got his diploma.
He seemed to have actually realized that you must live life,
not just exist.
He is now in the military (Army).
Child number 4- Kati-An (17)
Is going to school.......works almost full time.
Has a great young man she dates.
sounds like a dream child huh?
She is so "blond" it is scary.
Very smart just does not seem to "get it"
A bit ditsy. LOL but we love her.
Child number 5- Westley Charles (4)
Is adopted....so nope was not a suprise LOL
he is a beautiful, brilliant, little man.
A blessing to our entire family.
Come to think of it, having my family has made me who I
am today. I would not change a thing.
I love them all in their own special way. Each one of them is such
an amazing person. Even when they are doing their best to
cause their Mom to go nuts. LOL

Ginger,
What a beautiful family, and what a great attitude you have! Your family is lucky to have you, I hope they know that.
Nicole,
It sounds like no matter how many children you have, you have your head on straight.
