Pine Snake Humidity Question

So, I have a new pine snake baby, and I'm worried that the humidity in his enclosure is too high. It's around 55%-57%, which is the ambient humidity in my apartment (yay Miami humidity lol). I can't seem to find a straight answer about what the humidity levels need to be from the caresheets I've read - one said between 40% and 60%, another said below 50%, and most just say 'low' - so I wanted to ask here to see if anyone had a definite answer for me.

If it is too high, I'll invest in a heat lamp + stand or something instead of an UTH to dry out the air, but I'm tight on funds and I don't want to do that if it's not necessary.

A screen lid with ambient humidity is usually fine. Pine snakes range from New Jersey to Guatemala - if you have a little more info on the lineage of your animal we can probably make a better suggestion.

cool, thanks! I'm actually not sure what his lineage is; I think he's a Northern, but I'm not entirely sure.

Here's a picture of him, if that helps.

That is a baby northern. Ambient humidity is fine. No heat lamp. This species like it on the cooler size. I have a group of 8; they are very simple snakes to keep. They have voracious appetites.
