Mini Mealworms?

Anyone ever buy from this company? I think it would be great to have 500 of these pups on hand for hatchlings. They supposedly are more active so they will get hatchlings to eat (not that i have had a problem yet ) and they are perfect size for hatchlings!

What do you guys think?

Desire', they are REALLY 'mini'... they are so small that even hatchlings cannot see them! LOL!!! Seriously, a hatchling can do just fine on small (and perhaps even medium) mealworms.

Company, what company? You forgot to write the name down! But yeah, Marcia's right. Mini mealworms are like, dart frog food they're so small. I can't imagine they'd be much bigger than fruit fly maggots. I feed medium to large mealworms to my babies/subadults without any problems at all.

Yup! They are about the size (or smaller) of the cursor when you type on this forum.

From what i have seen is that they are very carnivorous.

They will eat meat with no problem.

I have seen that they devour normal mealworms quite quickly. I think it can become a problem with smaller gecko's when the worms get out of a dish and start roaming.

This is just my opinion. I would not use them, rather mealworms or small crickets. Also they quantities of worms to use to make a decent meal is quite a bit.

Any other experiences?

I have only bought them once, and only once, that was enough. They were active yes, but ridiculously small . Too small to even really fill my geckos up, and I only have two. I would just stick with normal mealworms I think that the geckos find them much more filling :eatpointe .

I also had no idea they were that small and was seriously considering ordering some. I'm glad I saw this thread when I did!

I bought them once too, 3000 them and they are sooo sooo tiny that they really are a small maggot size. I use mediums for all of my hatchings and never had a problem.
