I also lost an entire clutch of black back cinnies. Who knows why they were all kinked, but they were probably doomed from the start.

On the day that I was moving to a new city - mom laid. I transported her in her tub, still coiled around the eggs, made sure the incubator was last on the moving truck. 12 hours later I was able to get the 'bator hooked up and eggs set up.

The moment I found out I was being relocated by my company, I stopped pairing animals and wrote off this season. Still had a few girls that went - I have one clutch still in the 'bator - and fingers are crossed.

Happy for you with the pied though!
