Check snopes, it's a LONG running hoax email. Sometimes it says florida, and sometimes it's accompanied with gator pictures, and sometimes it's set in texas.
Neat picture, but hoax text.

The link has a gator pic, so guessing its that hoax, thanks Theresa.


Still wouldn't like to come across those guys without some warning though

Oh I definately saved the picture when I first got the email, wherever the pic is from, whether it's staged or not, it's a grand picture of some nice rattlers.

Dang... I never realized we had such a large population of western diamondbacks and prairie rattlesnakes here in the Sunshine State.

You see I'm new here, to the States, so I have no idea what lives where ... You could have colonies of pink fairies living in the everglades and I wouldn't be aware of it
