Open the email, Facebook page, etc. showing what you want to capture as your proof. Make sure it's the active window on your screen.

Hold down the Alt key and then type the PrtSc key.

Open MS Paint.

Type Ctrl-V to paste the screen shot of the active window into paint.

Save the image.

Then you can attach the image:

Screen shots are preferred over copied/pasted text as in the past some people have posted altered text as their "proof".

Also if you are posting emails some applications let you save them as .PDF files. Those can also be attached using the instructions in the link I posted.

I also use dual monitors as I work in IT. I suggested Paint because everyone typically has it on their PC. If you have a better application for working with pictures by all means have at it.

You can capture the screen on one screen using a dual system by clicking on the screen you want to capture. holding “Alt” and pressing PrntScn (up top by scroll lock usually). Paste it in paint and save it as a .jpg

Alt-PrtSc should only grab the currently active window, not your full desktop.

If you are using Outlook you can save emails as PDF files.

if you are using Windows there's also a snipping tool in "All programmes" "Accessories" which is great. You just activate it and you can select and save any part of your screen, (this cuts out the need to edit from "Print Screen") You can save the image in Photo Editor or whatever you prefer to use.

Once saved you add the image to your posts here (max 4 to one post. using 'Manage Attachments function at the bottom of your post screen here to add it. You can only post 4 images at a time here.
