If you are supplementing her diet correctly, for some reason she is not absorbing the nutriance..... In either case, I think you might need to take a step back and re-evaluate your husbandry....

I can not think of any other reason for there being a lack of calcium in the egg shell other than the female not getting enough calcium from her diet,,,,,

I spoke with Tonya about this and she wasn't aware that she should be providing Calcium with Vitamin D3. It may have been provided with more than enough caclium but wasn't able to synthisise enough due the the lack of Vit. D3.

I'm not questioning that, the egg was a good solid white when it was laid 32 days ago. Just recently it has formed this translucent spot, not when it was laid. I'm concerned that there may be something wrong. I'm trying to see if this issue has occured for anyone else, or if anyone knows why it might have happened
