Well there are definitely to many shows here in Florida, and it looks like there starting to get more and more in some of the states just north of Florida.

ultimately its going to be up to the vender's to attend only the best of the shows, and hope the less quality one either shape up or just fade away.

Its not a great thing to have to hope for or to have to wish away some of those shows. But its going to have to happen.

As mentioned in a previous post, if one vendor gets banned from one show they will just set up at another.
But if there are less shows, then chance are the vendor will have no choice but to shape up.

If we have just a handful of quality promoters and they all run their shows by the same guidelines, the future of shows may still be hopeful.

No harm.

Thank you Audry

I just wanted to Thank Audry aka Cricket for the Caresheet information on bearded dragons, Leopard geckos. Also a thank you goes out to Mr. John Farm for their caresheets on Amphibians. They were the ONLY ones that stepped up!

If everyone is suggesting caresheets at the information table then why are they the ONLY two that supplied us with caresheets?

Hey Cathy don't forget we discussed this on the phone. You asked for an electronic version and since I just switched over computers I couldn't readily locate my copy. I did, however, tell you I would bring a stack of printed ones to the show on Saturday. Unfortunately, my wife's horse died this weekend and I was very busy taking care of the horse before and after its death...not to mention taking care of my wife. Otherwise, you would have received some care sheets from me.

As soon as I get the files transferred over from my various computers to my new computer I will email you some of the sheets so you can have them on file for your next show.

I think a vendor setting up a table SHOULD be a sort of contract betweent he two. The Promoter should expect the vendor to stay the whole time, unless otherwise specified. Also, the vendor should not begin packing up until the show is over.

It really looks bad, from the customers viewpoint. Also, there are people that will wait untilt he last minute to come in, expecting great deals, as vendors dont' want to bring everythign back home. I have sold easily $200 worth of tickets in the last hour of almost all of Tony's good shows. These people know what they want, and the come in last minute for the best deals. Of courrse, closing EARLY on sundays... that's a good idea too.

Feel free to use my cornsnake caresheet, as long as you print this on the bottom of each sheet (it took a while to write that sheet the way I wanted it, lol!):

"This care sheet may be reprinted only in its entirety and with proper credit given."

It is here:
