I emailed him....oh, maybe a month ago....and never got a reply.

I'm going to assume that if no one has heard anything about a "spring" show by now, there isn't going to be one. Maybe in the fall.....

I had heard that the renovations at the store were keeping Larry very busy. No spring show, and we aren't sure if there will be a fall show. A friend has been checking out the possibility of a show further north in Minnesota. We shall see, in a bit of time. If I hear anything concrete, I'll be sure to post it.

Would you guys be interested in a show in Albert Lea? If I can get enough people interested and if Larry dont have one I can get one going here.. Let me know what you guys think!

Aaron, while I would LOVE to have a show in Albert Lea, I just don't know that it is a big enough area to make a go of it. I can't think of anyplace in Albert Lea that would have a facility to hold a decent sized show....and to counter the expense involved in putting it on, it would HAVE to be a decent sized show.

The only advantages I can think of (besides being really close to ME, lol) is that it is fairly centrally located between Des Moines and Minneapolis, and it is right off from I35, making it an easy place to get to, if you could find a spot near the interstate to hold it.

If you honestly think you could get enough vendors interested, I'd be glad to try to help look into things with you.....but is there enough buying public in this area to make it a success?

Cathy, I was thinking maybe try to get the vendors that were at the kato show plus more if I could. I know the Days Inn has a fairly large room in it. thinking about 3/4 the size of the room Larry had. the rows of tables could be put a lil closer if needed. I was also thinking if I do this I would advertise pretty mych from the cities to des moines. and la crosse to souix falls. I know it will be a large undertaking but if it goes over well and Larry dont want to do any more shows maybe if it gets big enough maybe try the city arena... it was just an idea and not many others have chimed in if they would like to vend at it so it may not be a go..just an idea.....

Talking I'd go...

I'd be happy to be a vendor at Albert Lea. There's always a first time for everything and if it's advertised enough, the turn out could be decent,

Aaron I have been looking at a show at St. Cloud for the end of October beginning of November. We have found a place and are just checking out some other things. I just wanted to have more information before I posted anything.

I was thinking about a late Aug early Sept show.. Thats only if I could get enough vendors that would be interested though.
