The Postal service is set to close hundreds to thousands of branch offices nation wide. The story is here:

For the most part, when I have animals shipped, I use Fed Ex or Ship your reptiles. However, when the distance is short, say within Texas or from surrounding states, I will use USPS Express, but only because I know and am well known at my local branch. I call them the afternoon before I expect a package so that they know ahead of time that there is a live shipment coming in. Once, I had a terrible seller ship priority standard, and the package arrived on Saturday afternoon. They looked out for it and allowed me to come get it after hours instead of waiting until Monday. I also use USPS to have bugs shipped, and again, the carrier knows me and makes sure the bugs are either handed to me or are left in a cool dry place.
Unfortunately, my branch is one that is slated to close.
So, I have two questions:
1) Will these closures affect your business or the reptile trade in general?
2) Do you think these closures will affect the cost of shipping in general?
