Haha I just remembered I had posted this so I thought I might give a little update to anyone interested. Orion (the Colombian B and G ) is making excellent progress. He no longer bites and he allows you to rub him under the chin with no more then a little hissing. I have found that scooping him up slowly and making sure he knows your hand is there is an excellent way to pick him up. As long as I come up from underneath he remains (relatively) calm. He accompanies me on forays around the house and enjoys free time in the bathroom with the shower running. He'll even sit on my foot for a few minutes and just relax. He'll definitely never be a lap dog or a beardie but I kind of like the challenge.
