The het Leucistic Black Rats are 100% het Leucistic. They appear to be “normals”, as in the case with majority of any heterozygous animal. The babies show a prominent pattern which they slowly lose as they mature. Some hold more pattern than others, some are darker than others, but all of them show at least a faint amount reddish-orange in their background and occasionally on their bellies. All of their bellies are completely patternless, though. Below are pictures (random pics I already had on my phone) of a 2018 hatchling, a 2017 yearling, a 2016 sub adult, and the adult mother (sitting in her bowl next to where she layed her eggs.. layed a week early before water removed).
