Ringnecks available
Hi,
Just saw your post from last month. I have 5 young adults (8"-12") and 1 juvenile (5") Prairie Ringnecks, (Diadophis punctatus), as identified using the National Audubon Society's Field Guide to North American Reptiles and Amphibians. The photo is in the Snakes/Two-Toned section, Plate 497. I have not yet sexed them, but will.
I also have a M/F pair of Midwest Worm Snakes, the female appears to be gravid. The male is about 7", the female about 8".
They can be found in the same Audubon field guide, same section, Plate 493. The Midwest variants I have is darker above than the Westen variant in the photo. The male's ventral surface is bright pink, the female's is pale pink.
All are eating dusted small crickets and small worms.
Let me know if you're interested.
