I picked the supers due to the variety of sizes when breeding them. I use them for a variety of animals as well as 8 legged eating machines and the various sizes as they grow makes it easier to provide an appropriate sized meal for the size of the one doing the eating.

It took some major getting used to and a couple escapee disasters but I am really liking the discoid & lobster roaches these days.

What feeder roaches are available in Florida? We have tried to find some breeders online but they all say that they will not ship to Florida. Is there any way around this? We know that they are much better for the dragons than crickets and we only want the best for them.

Huge fan of my discoid roaches and supers. Crickets i have just for hatchlings and i move them to silkies and roaches if i have them as soon as possible. I steer clear of mealies and i haven't found any decently priced Pheonix worms yet.

I like mealworms because they are convenient and easy to keep, store well in the fridge, and my lizards love them.

Hello

Hello,

Supers because they are relatively easy to breed & very easy to keep & care for. They live a long time as well.

Superworms all the way.

1. Various sizes for various herps.
2. They are easily catchable if they escape on to the floor.
3. Very easy to keep and maintain.
5. Much less of an odor compared to clutches of other insects.
6. They can't escape the feeding dish as easily. (Exo Terra Mealworm dish helps)
7. Lively movement catches your herp's eye.
8.They won't keep you up all night with that damn chirping!
