I've got a friend coming down from Jersey this spring who desperately wants to find a Scarlet Kingsnake...and I must admit that I'd also be thrilled at the opportunity. Anyone know where/when to spot these little fellas?

Thanks In Advance,
Chris (Spartanburg, SC)

Exclamation snake!!!help!!!

i'm new to sc from jersey and i saw a snake in my carport.i hope it was a garter snake but it seemed pretty big.garter snakes in jersey are definitely not that big.i don't wanna be the yankee standing outside screaming over a dumb snake but my husbands a truck driver so he's away and i'm pregnant and running away from this thing everytime i have to go to the car.it looks like a 2 toned green,it's 2-4 ft. long and 3-4 inches in diameter.does anyone know if it's a garter?either way i want it gone!it was on my tire and i tried to run it over but it took off.now i have to hire someone to cut the lawn for sure cuz i aint goin out there!there's so much creepy crawly stuff in this state.i love the people here but i wanna go home.
