Thumbs down

Blames the condition of he snake on the previous owner but pictures it in an enclosure that has dried crap stains in the corner and up the sides. Looks like it is still living in filth.

Why is this crap allowed on Fauna? Are there no moderators reviewing ads?

I don't know... he COULD have gotten it from someone and decided to sell it. BUT, at the same time something's telling me that it's fishy - mainly because the asking price and the condition of the snake & its enclosure as previously mentioned.

I guess we'll see if the snake gets sold/traded or not... poor little guy I'd take him & fix him a few good meals if I wasn't deathly afraid of snakes (except adult corns!).

people who should only speak when spoken to

First of all I should not need to explain myself to anyone but do not like my name nor hardwork being drug through the mud.

This snake was taken in a trade instead of an albino hognose because the albino fell through so rather than not have anything I decided to take this especially after I saw the condition.

The previous owners had it mostly uncaged they walked around with it constantly and couldn't get it to eat so they didn't feed it. When it was in a cage it was kept on newspaper with a moldy water dish and screen for a door, hence the unhealing nose rub. After 2 months I was able to get it to feed and it now it's five hairless rats (Juvies) sown together in a line, barely sented with whatever kind of snake you want, I change its water every other day, I have finally cured the scail rot, needless to say I have MANY hours into the rehabilitation of this snake and don't appreciate other people playing down my efforts. when they have no idea what they are talking about, that is not dried crap on the cage but a spot where the paint is coming off.

As for why for sale: I honestly no longer have the time to give this animal the proper care it needs because of taking on a 3RD JOB. I will continue to care for it as long as is necessary as I do not believe in treating animal inhumanely, which after 10 years of venomous experience is why I don't believe in venomoids to begin with.

Any Q's please feel free to email me directly at: tildthdousprt@hotmail.com

If this is true, then ill be the first to apologize. You can understand the skepticism with all the venomous butchery and generally the never ending parade of scumbags in the reptile industry just out to make a buck with no consideration for the animals they peddle.

I don't believe it.

If you really cared about the animal, you would try to place it with a responsible keeper and not be trying to sell it for $1500.

That's not mud, that's crap, you know the stuff you're more full of then the enclosure you are housing this poor snake in.

Again, you are more full of crap then the enclosure has smeared on the walls and caked in the corners. If you expect anybody with the IQ over 15 to believe the paint is just coming off in a spot you are obviously under the 15. Maybe you need a second look at the pictures. Pay particular attention (now I understand this may be difficult for you, but at least try) to the second picture. The stains that go up at least 4 inches all along the bottom portion of the enclosure is NOT (I repeat NOT) paint coming off. It is speared crap from the snake moving through it's own feces that was left in it's enclosure. By the looks of the "dirt" looking substance in a line located below the chin in the second picture it appears the crap is left in there until it dries and is turned to dust. No wonder it had/has scale (not scail ) rot.
