I wouldn't advice breeding her to another hypo. If you did, and she gave birth to 17 live babies and 8 slugs, who's to say that the 8 slugs couldn't of been a normal? You need to breed her to a NON-HYPO to prove her out 100%.

I'm using Alby the Lipstick Jungle het albino if he reach sexual maturity next season.
If he is not ready i will have to find something to pair her up with.At the moment i only have a couple breeding males.I bought all females 3 years ago to raise and just plain didnt have the money to buy more quality males in time to breed all my females.So i used the 2 i did have.
This year i bought 4 males and the 2 killer Corals i just bought will breed next yearr to my het albino's.
I will keep an eye out in the summer for a male to use on the poss. super if my Lipstick Jungle het albino doesnt reach maturity

So there's no possibility that those 8 slugs could've been normal if it was poss super hypo x normal breeding? So out of the 17 live only about 12 (about half of the litter of 25) of those would be hypo if she didn't prove out and if all of them were hypo then she would prove super?

I am going to use my Lipstick Jungle het albino since the possible super is also a possible Jungle.I agree with those that say use the Jungle het.
I rather not take a chance if i dont need to.Plus the 03 dh sunglow i have is going to be way too big for this sunglow.He is huge.I dont want any more dh sunglows unless Lipstick and female.Using a dh male on my het females gives me 66% ers and i dont like taking chances on buying 66% ers myself,so rather not have them to try and sell.
I guess at some point i will have some dh's but from my litters and only Lipsticks.And any het coral dh's i might use.

I wish i could use her with the High end Corals i just bought.Wouldn't that be nice.

Rich asked what the best way to prove if she is a super sunglow or a jungle and in my opinion breeding her to a jungle would be the best outcome, because he would have all hypos if she proved super and if he got any super jungles it would prove her jungle as well. If you throw another hypo in the mix, it takes a sharp eye to determine if there IS any supers in the clutch and they can't be guaranteed supers until they are proven. Breeding a super hypo to a non-hypo is the best to to determine there gene and breeding a jungle to jungle is the easiest way to prove that gene.

you keep saying "Lipstick Jungle het albino" I assume it's a jungle that is het for the 'lipstick' line albino?

Who know's April,its from Al brown and he advertises them as Lipstick jungle's het albino.

The tail on mine is better then the ones posted.It was a little more $ do to the nice abberant pattern on him.

I also seen lipstick dh's advertised before.They had the redest bodies i had ever seen on a dh sunglow.I think they were on here from that David Zachary guy back awhile ago.

ok I never heard them described like that before (with Lipstick being in front, it makes is sound like it IS an albino, but that is just how I was looking at it)

I always assumed that it would be het Lipstick albino. When i looked at the tail i thought ok,maybe they are Lipstick Jungles het albino.Nice either way!
