Alligator on St. Marks River, FL

A friend of ours took us out for a ride on his pontoon boat on the St. Marks River today, and along the way we spotted this critter apparently enjoying the beautiful weather just as much as we were.

That is so awesome, to see such a critter not in a zoo! Us Northerners might catch a glimpse of a garter snake or snapping turtle, but that would be so cool!
