Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

at long last
I'll be heading to the National Zoo soon. telling my wife it is so she can see the baby elephant...but the truth is, I want to visit the komodo dragons. or is it? I've been wanting to see them since they got there and it's never worked out. maybe there is something to this elephant thing after all

Will do. I'm hoping my new camera will be here by the time we go...if not, I'll take the newish one. its probably only about 6 months old, I just wanted something better for taking pics of the critters - will be starting on my website soon (another "at long last")

Oohhh Komodo dragons. I can't wait to see pictures. The one at the St. Louis zoo died recently  and I'm not sure if they have any more (haven't been in a long time). I'll be looking forward to your website too.
