Bitter yet sweet

Lost the light colored female last night,she really didnt show much promise from day one.(dropped a gram in weight every couple days etc)
The male is doing great,nice and solid
Ill start feeding trials in another week or so,no mice straight rat meat for all my kiddo's

Its all part of the game,some girls just dont make good breeders I guess?
I have another female I need to grow out to size and give her a try,she is old enough(4yrs) but still very small.
Never have been very breeder minded,I stay pretty content just simply owning them
along with all the ups/downs that come with that

Still though, tough break. Would have been nice to have that female with some outcrossed blood.

Sucks to have to use mouse meat, no rat pinks
to be found in the area.
Had to get it going on something so.....

He was gassed up pretty good after the first one which was more surreal
The second item looks to prove him as a future strong feeder
My phone died just as it got real,a tad gruesome to some
