Matt, the White Diamond is a member of the blue-eyed leucistic complex, and is generally considered the whitest member of that group. The gene was proven by Vin Russo, and is sometimes called the Russo Leucistic. It's the super form of a co-dominant trait, with the het animal appearing more brightly colored than a normal.
