Exported these guys back from Europe last week. They are young and will take food from your hand or tongs, and are easily handled without attempting to bite. Big eaters. Adults will top out at about 18 inches for a big male. They eat everything from fruit, veggies, dog food, insects, mice, etc. We used to refer to this black and bronze form as 'E.c. kreffti'.
Just for reference, i uploaded a pic of a sub adult male which was about 2 years old at the time of the photo. So not quite full grown. But gives you an idea of their size and coloration as adults. This form keeps its unique coloration and pattern into adulthood. They are live bearers and females will have from 3-7 young per litter. I can provide a copy of the USFW import docs on these animals, as needed.
