Kinda - of course in rabbits the terminology is a lil different. They call it the vienna gene and it's basically recessive (takes two) to make a full blue eyed white rabbit. So sometimes when you breed a blue eyed white to a non carrier you get rabbits with partially expressed whites. Usually a white strip down the middle of the face and half blue eyes. I can show you some cool pics... but of course now were comparing goats to apples... back to the bearded dragons eye!

Hey guys! Sorry I'm about a year too late.. I just wanted to show off my blue eyed Bearded dragon. My Bearded dragon has been checked out by the top reptile vet in my area. His eyes are very healthy according to a professional. Just thought I'd share Jasper with you all...

I was looking through the forum and noticed this topic, I adopted a large citrus dragon several months ago and he has nice blue eyes.

They look like "human blue eyes" to me not speckled , or bloched as some pictures I have seen.

Are blues eyes in dragons due to genetics or some form of illness or both?
