Do blue tongue skinks need UVA?

I know about UVB, but just curious about UVS

Im assuming you mean UVA. All bulbs that produce UVB also produce UVA as well. You can however get specific bulbs that only produce UVA which is generally used to provide a better lighting quality to your animals cages. I do stress that UVA is necessary however for the benefit of the reptile as these animals can see in 4 colors compared to humans who can only see three, but they NEED the UVA in order to see the 4th color spectrum.
