I think that if you are looking for an arboreal species which is fairly easy to work with, you should check out Cresteds and gargoyle geckos. Both can be housed in simple cages with moderate humidity and temps between 70-80 degrees. They are very handleable and easy to care for. They eat fruit baby food and insects.
If you are interested in these species, I would encourage you to follow this link -
http://www.sandfiredragonranch.com - and ask for Allen Repashy. He can set you up with both species and is tremendous to work with. You will not be disappointed if you work with Allen at Sandfire. That is a guarantee.
When you call them - tell them you heard it from a guy who was posting from "Faunaclassifieds Gecko Forum".
Take care
