It sounds like he has a serious RTI, he needs to be seen by a vet, ASAP.

Respiratory tract infection.

Until you can get him to the vet, I would recommend raising the heat and humidity a bit in his enclosure, that sometimes helps. If you have any other snakes, you are going to want to make sure he is quarantined as well.

Yes. Different infections require different antibiotics.

One point to consider - since GTS are normally in humid environments, I wouldn't just blindly promote increasing the humidity...it could worsen the problem. Jacob, what are the temps and humidity in its enclosure? what are you using for substrate? what type of heat source? How long has it had these symptoms?

AH, good point Harald. Consider I was posting at 4 am on very little sleep, lol.

This gentleman also told me thru PM (that I just received now) that he has white chunky stuff in his mouth. (the snake, not the guy, lol)....I think a vet call is in order ASAP.

I agree - you should make the appt and get the snake seen. the white chunky stuff is most likely casseation from stomatitis (mouth rot). This is often a secondary infection (or symptom of infection). Combined with the way you said the snake sounds it means that it is time to seek medical intervention

BUT - you should still be prepared to answer all the questions I asked earlier, because you will hear most of them again
